This is a great book for a couple of reasons. The first one that sticks out in my minds eye, as well as the kids that have read it, is that I have never heard of this animal. All the info, all the pictures and all of the fun facts were 100% new stuff to us. The second thing that makes this animal book special is the shear number of pictures and information. I am not saying it is an overload but instead the book sets its self apart from the rest simply because so real work went into it.
