On the way to grandma's

We really, really like the art work in this book and the story is spot on as well. The story is about imagination and the illustrations subtly help a child along the road to use their imagination. This is a fun book and perfect for new readers or to be read to at bed time.

Amazon Book Description

Young children occasionally immerse themselves in an imaginary world.
Adults may see this as childish silliness or even as blatant lies. Yet
these forays into the world of imagination contribute to the the
development of creative thinking. Imagination is also useful as
experimentation that with time, helps children consolidate a clear
perception of the boundary between reality and fantasy.
