Being different can be a great thing, even when you are purple. This one of my favorite kids books simply because it is a "sweet" book, has a great lesson and I (and a couple of young ones that I read it to) honestly think there is something wonderful about the illustrations, the just seem real.
If you miss getting this book free then go ahead and spend the few cents a buy the book.
